If you intend to marry a person settled in the UK then you may be able to apply for a fiancé visa. The requirements for a fiancé visa are:
you are both at least 18 years old on the date when you would arrive in the UK
you intend to marry or register a civil partnership within a reasonable time (usually 6 months);
you intend to live with your fiancé permanently as husband and wife or civil partners after you are married or have registered your civil partnership;
you have met your fiancé;
you meet the English language requirement, unless you can show that you qualify for an exemption
until you are married or have registered a civil partnership, there must be somewhere for you and any dependents to live without recourse to public funds;
when you are married or in your civil partnership there must be adequate accommodation where you and any dependents can live without recourse to public funds
A fiancé visa will be granted for 6 months, in which time you will need to marry your fiancé. Thereafter you will need to apply for leave as a spouse, which once granted will give you a two year visa to remain in the UK. At the end of the two years you may be able to apply for indefinite leave to remain in the UK.
